What’s W-shaped Eyelash Extension?
Hey lash lovers, today we want to briefly talk to you about our latest product W-shaped lashes. So if you haven't heard about these before or you've seen them and you're not sure what they are. I'm gonna guide you through what they are and how we can use them.
So W-shaped lashes are relatively new to the industry and back in 2019. We saw the introduction of a new type of lash which was the W-shaped lash now. At first, this lash was questionable. We’re not sure about that type of lash and we weren't sure whether clients would like this new type of premade volume effect. However, it seems to be that the answer is a big fat.
What's W-shaped lash?
As its vivid and intuitive name suggests, it takes the shape of the letter W. Or it looks like a fork. So the W-shaped lash is what it says it's three single lashes that are bonded together to create a very unusual looking extension. Now it's applied like a premade lashes. So it's a real sort of universal lash and it almost bridges that gap between classic and volume now. Overall it's proved popular and currently. They are available in several curls and thicknesses. So the most common you're gonna see is the C and D with a thickness of 0.07 and 0.05 millimeters.
Who's the W-shaped lash suitable for?
It’s for those clients that almost love that edgy volume look. You can see that the W-shaped lash it's quite a sort of zig. It's quite an edgy compared to the sort of very neat uniformed volume look that we've become accustomed to seeing him. It's great for those clients that warm that edgy look. They don't like that perfect Russian volume look and it gives a really good dark Ayler an effect because the basis of them is flat. They're almost Hibari or like a flat lash. You'll always get that dark look running through like an eyeliner effect.
Are they simple?
It's easy to apply it. Applies just like a classic lash because it's got that very long base on it. So it goes on nicely. It's a little bit like working with a flat lash. It offers amazing retention due to the very sort of flat or straight base. It's a real quick and easy way to achieve a volume look because it's applied like classic lashes.
How to use them?
Grab the extension (the W-shaped lash) halfway between the top and the bottom of the extension. The key to keeping the W-shaped lash intact is grabbing just before the base splits into the W-shaped lash which you will see is about halfway on the extension, then apply as you would a classic extension.
